is handled.

Core Energy Counsel (“Core Energy Counsel,” “I,” “me”) is a professional coaching practice run by Ezra Willey. This policy explains what information is collected through coreenergycounsel.com and the Core Energy Counsel email list, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: I collect only what I need to send you what you asked for and to respond to you, and I never sell your information.

Information I collect

Information you give me. When you request a free guide, I collect your first name and email address, and which guide you chose. When you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include in your message. If you book or attend coaching, I may also collect scheduling and payment details and the information you share during our work together.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site and its service providers automatically collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser and device type, approximate location based on your IP address, pages viewed, and referring site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies and is used to run the site, keep it secure, and understand how it is used. Emails I send may also record whether a message was opened or a link was clicked.

How I use it

• To send the guide you requested and the short series of follow-up emails that goes with it
• To reply to your messages and schedule sessions
• To provide coaching services you have agreed to
• To occasionally share coaching resources, updates, or offers — you can unsubscribe at any time
• To maintain, secure, and improve the website and emails
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Service providers

I use trusted third-party services to run this practice, and they process information on my behalf: Squarespace (website hosting, contact forms, and site analytics) and Kit (email list and email delivery). I may also use scheduling, video-call, and payment providers for coaching clients. These providers handle information under their own privacy policies and security practices. I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

I may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of anyone, or as part of a transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

Coaching conversations

What you share in coaching is treated as confidential and is not shared without your permission, except where disclosure is required by law or needed to prevent serious harm. Specific confidentiality terms are set out in the coaching agreement. Coaching is not legal advice, therapy, or mediation, and communications with Core Energy Counsel are not protected by attorney-client privilege.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
• Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing me. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; I will honor reasonable requests wherever you are.
• Cookies can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them.

How long I keep it

Email list information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Messages and client records are kept as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and then deleted.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information and rely on reputable providers with established security practices. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site and its services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact me and I will delete it.

International visitors

Core Energy Counsel is based in the United States, and my service providers may store information in the United States or other countries. By using the site, you understand your information may be processed there.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
